About the Role

Micoworks is looking for a passionate Site Reliability Engineer to design and manage cloud infrastructure, automation pipelines, and monitoring systems. You'll play a key role in scaling DevOps environments and improving reliability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Automate infrastructure tasks using Terraform or Ansible
  • Develop tools to improve operational efficiency and response time
  • Define and track SLOs and SLIs for system reliability
  • Handle alerts, outages, and conduct post-incident reviews
  • Implement CI/CD workflows for faster and secure releases
  • Perform capacity planning and system tuning
  • Manage IAM and access controls for development environments

Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience with AWS architecture
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration
  • Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible
  • Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • CI/CD tools and monitoring setup
  • Basic networking and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with GCP or Azure
  • Working knowledge of microservices architecture
  • Cloud cost optimization and usage analysis
  • Programming in Python, TypeScript, or Shell scripting
  • Database and security fundamentals
