Role Overview

As a System Engineer, you’ll manage and monitor cloud and server infrastructure, deploy solutions, handle automation tasks, and work closely with DevOps and security teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers
  • Manage cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Configure and monitor networks, firewalls, VPNs, DNS
  • Handle virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V
  • Automate tasks using Bash, PowerShell, or Python scripts
  • Manage backups, storage systems, and disaster recovery
  • Ensure system security, patching, and compliance
  • Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams on deployments
  • Document configurations, processes, and runbooks

Requirements

  • 0 -1 years of experience in Systems/Cloud/Infrastructure roles
  • Proficient with Linux administration (RedHat/Ubuntu)
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS (preferred)
  • Familiar with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)
  • Hands-on with storage (SAN, NAS, RAID) and monitoring tools
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Good communication and team collaboration

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
  • CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
